I want to thank the Pacifica Tribune for its article to help update us on the progress of the intended Wi-Fi being brought to our town. I’m looking forward to reading a more time frames structure article as to when and where the installation is progressing.

    Hi Jerry -

    Thanks so much for commenting.

We’re hopeful that the design and deployment portion of the first phase of the roll out will be completed in the next few weeks. The first phase will cover roughly one square mile and I think we’ll be far enough along next week to discuss the locations of those first Access Points and thus, the area of coverage provided by them.

We’re not trying to be secretive – we just don’t want to announce anything that’s not accurate. As we finish up these last few network design matters, we’ll have a better idea of exactly how and where it will roll out.

I will be working with the Pacifica Tribune and updating this blog to keep interested parties informed.

Thanks and please keep any questions and comments coming.

Do you have any idea what the access charges will be for PacificaNet?

    Thanks,

    Gordon
